51th Annual New England Municipal Building Officials Seminar

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ADVANCE REGISTRATION FOR THE SEMINAR:
Registration This will connect you to the UMass Amherst Conference Services Page to register for the Seminar and for Hotel Rooms.
Plan A $325 3-Day Seminar (includes all breakfasts, all breaks, all lunches & banquet)
Plan B $300 3-Day Seminar (includes all breaks, all lunches, & banquet)
Plan C $225 3-Day Seminar (includes all breaks & banquet)
One day $175 1-Day Seminar (includes all breaks & lunch)
Note: the rates above are for registrations/payments received by September 15, 2017. Registrations and payments received after this date will be assessed an additional $40 late fee.
Additional social hour tickets for guests of seminar attendees or for those only attending one day are available for $30.00 a ticket.
GUEST SPEAKER: This year we have Ron Lynn, an ICC Speaker, who will put on the "ICC Leader Workshop" for three sessions on Monday and "Increasing the Credibility of the Code OFficial" for four sessions on Tuesday. Books for each of these courses can be purchased for $25 upon pre-registratino or $30 Monday and/or Tuesday.
The Program begins at 9:30 am in the Auditorium with opening remarks by William A. Hanley II, NEBOEA Chairman and John Willnauer, Seminar Facilitator.
PRE-REGISTRATION SIGN IN: If you arrive Monday, October 2nd between 7:30am – 1:00pm pick up your packet at the Registration Tables on the 1st Floor Concourse, Campus Center. If you arrive Monday after 1:00pm, or any time thereafter, go to Room 810 on the Eighth floor to pick up your packet.
WALK IN REGISTRATIONS: Walk in registrations can be made Monday at the Registration Tables from 7:30am – 1:00pm. If arriving after 1:00pm Monday, or any time thereafter, go to Room 810 on the 8th floor to register. Meals may not be available to walk-in registrants. The “registration only" option will be available. There is a $40.00 late fee.
CANCELLATION: Cancellations before the close of business on September 22, 2017 will receive a full refund minus $60.00 and any administrative fees. All cancellations must be received in writing. Telephone cancellations will not be accepted unless they are immediately followed by a letter of cancelation by way of email or fax. Checks returned due to insufficient funds will be charged a $35.00 fee.
ON CAMPUS LODGING: 70 discounted rooms are available for $135/night (plus applicable fees) for Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights at the Campus Center Hotel and are on hold for seminar attendees until September 1, 2017. Use the group code NEB17C to receive the Seminar rates. The toll free number is (877) 822-2110. One complimentary parking pass for the Campus Center Parking Garage, per room, per night will be available at check in.
PARKING: Discounted parking passes are available when you register for the three day Seminar for $25.00 or $6.50 per day. Please park in the parking garage only. Cars parked in a University lot, fire lane, tow zone, any restricted area or handicapped space without displaying a proper permit will be subject to having the vehicle ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.

FOR THE SIXTH YEAR THE NEBOEA IS OFFERING ALL OF THE ICC CERTIFIED CODE SAFETY PROFESSIONAL PAPER/PENCIL EXAMS FOR ALL SUBJECTS FOR THE 2012 TO THE 2015 CODE YEARS..
THE SIGN UP DEADLINE IS SEPTEMBER 2, 2017.
The am exam is from 8:30 am - 12:00 pm and the pm exam is from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm.
The exams will be held in Room 904-908.

FOR THE THIRD YEAR THE NEBOEA IS OFFERING ICC CEU’s FOR THOSE CLASSES AS INDICATED ON THE PROGRAM.
THE UMASS “CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION” WILL BE DISTRIBUTED IN THE CAMPUS CENTER AUDITORIUM AT 3:00pm WEDNESDAY.
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING YOUR CERTIFICATE!!
If you are unable to pick up your certificate, make arrangements with a friend to take your certificate for you. State representatives will gather all leftover certificates and will send them to you upon receiving a SASE and a $5.00 check made out to NEBOEA. Your State Representative’s name, address and phone number will be posted on the white board.
UMASS will NOT have nor are they authorized to make duplicates.
